Bernard CAMBOU, Ph.D.
President and Chief Scientific Officer
From 2004 to December 2006, Dr. Cambou was Chief Executive Officer of Pennsylvania based StageMark Inc. which he co-founded with two rheumatology clinicians from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Prior to founding StageMark, Bernard was a Venture Capital Partner with Birchmere Ventures a Life Sciences Investment firm based in Pittsburgh, PA and co-managed with San Francisco based Bay City Capital. Prior to Birchmere Ventures, Bernard was Vice President, Business Development with Human Genome Sciences. He joined HGS in 2000 after they acquired in a $125M transaction Principia Pharmaceuticals a spin-off from Aventis, which he co-founded in 1999. Prior to that, Bernard held various research and business development positions with Aventis in France, Japan and the United States where he relocated in 1995.
Bernard is a post-graduate from the Pasteur Institute and the University of Technology of Compiegne. In the early 80s, he spent two years at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA as a post-doctoral fellow. He also holds an MBA from ESSEC, Paris.

Cécile BOUGERET, Ph.D.

Cécile Bougeret holds a Ph.D. in biology from the University Denis Diderot (Paris). She was a post-doctoral fellow at Rockefeller University, New York and Harvard University, Boston (USA). Prior to joining Cytomics Pharmaceuticals, she worked at Aventis, (Vitry-sur-Seine, France) and Diatos (Paris). Her work was focused on cell signalling pathways and oncology.
